Thursday, September 26, 2024 The launch of a new stablecoin that would be issued by Revolut is in the pipeline, reports said.

Revolut is a London-based fintech firm.

The coming stablecoin would not be available in the US as Revolut had discontinued its services in the US due to regulatory issues.

It is not clear if Revolut’s new stablecoin would be pegged to the US dollar, like USDT and USDC, the report said.

By now, Revolut secures a leading spot in the cryptosphere, strengthening with a 45 million user base plus its increasing revenue of $2.2 billion.

Revolut X, the crypto trading platform of Revolut, was launched in May this year originally aimed at retail customers in the US.
