New York, Thursday, September 26, 2024 – Envoc, in collaboration with Bead Pay, has launched a cryptocurrency payment system for the State of Louisiana, allowing residents to use digital currency for select state services starting in early September 2024.
The initiative aims to provide secure, efficient, and modern payment options.
The system, developed by Envoc and operated by Bead Pay’s digital asset network, integrates real-time conversion of cryptocurrency payments into US dollars, ensuring stability for the state while enhancing convenience for users.
The first implementation is with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, offering hunters and anglers the option to pay using digital currencies.
Envoc’s CEO Calvin Fabre highlighted the project’s role in improving government interactions with residents, while Bead Pay’s CEO Jay Sykes emphasized its potential to foster financial inclusion and economic growth.
