Catenaa, Saturday, March 01, 2025- President Donald Trump will host a cryptocurrency roundtable at the White House on March 7, bringing together key industry leaders, the administration announced Friday.
The meeting will be led by White House Crypto and AI Czar David Sacks and Bo Hines, executive director of a digital assets working group. Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks.
“Attendees will include prominent founders, CEOs, and investors from the crypto industry, as well as members of the President’s Working Group on Digital Assets,” the White House said in a statement. The administration did not disclose the full list of participants.
The summit follows Sacks’ first public comments as Trump’s crypto czar on February 4, where he emphasized the need to retain innovation in the U.S. “Financial assets are destined to become digital, just like every analog industry has, and we want that value creation to happen in the United States,” he said.
The announcement caps a significant week for the crypto industry. Earlier Friday, a federal judge approved the Securities and Exchange Commission’s motion to withdraw its case against Coinbase. Ethereum incubator ConsenSys and crypto exchange Gemini both said the SEC informed them that investigations into their firms would be closed. The agency also moved to pause its case against the Tron Foundation and founder Justin Sun.
The White House framed the summit as a shift from previous regulatory crackdowns, signaling a new era for digital finance.
