Catenaa, Friday, June 13, 2025- AI-driven crypto startup TrueNorth has raised $1 million in a strategic angel round backed by top founders from LayerZero, SEI, Selini Capital, and Plume to build a hyper-personalized digital asset discovery platform.
Founded by former WOO Exchange COO Willy Chuang and ex-Temasek AI investor Alex Lee, TrueNorth is developing what it calls crypto’s first agentic AI engine, designed to tailor investment insights in real time to each user’s trading style, portfolio, and market behavior.
The platform, now in closed beta, uses autonomous agents to monitor activity across blockchains, social media, and macroeconomic indicators, generating high-signal investment prompts specific to individual users.
Chuang said the system is built to reduce the information overload that plagues modern crypto markets. Lee added that TrueNorth leverages reinforcement learning models and a generative user interface to enhance trading outcomes, adapting to users dynamically over time.
Backing the project are notable crypto figures including Bryan Pellegrino of LayerZero, Jeff Feng of SEI, and Jordi Alexander of Selini Capital. Their investments reflect growing confidence in the role of AI in shaping decentralized financial tools.
Operating under Singapore-registered Advent AI, TrueNorth is working with 500 early adopters, dubbed “Truthsayers, to fine-tune the platform’s intelligent workflows. A public launch is expected in the coming months.
The company is part of Delphi Labs’ decentralized AGI accelerator and plans to unveil more details about its architecture and roadmap ahead of the general release.
