George Town, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 – The Open Network Foundation (TON), on March 20, 2024, announced its allocation of 30 million Toncoin (TON) tokens aimed at community rewards, according to Binance. 1

The allocation would be worth $115 million, according to the resource.

The incentives will be issued under four categories.

Token mining and user incentives; airdrops; the league developer ecosystem; liquidity pool boosts.

The amounts will be $38 million, $22 million, $15 million, and $40 million, respectively.

The distribution of 30 million tokens for a one-month period starting April 1 expects expansion of the user level in the ecosystem.

650,000 TON valued at $2.6 million were distributed to users under liquidity pool boosts during a pilot season, and 550,000 TON valued at $2.2 million would be shared among the winners of the League Pilot.

“The Open League’s pilot season has shown our community is ready to have some fun,” Director of Marketing at the TON Foundation, Jack Booth, stated. 2

Telegram channel owners are permitted to acquire financial rewards, limiting them on selling advertising and sharing revenue with TON channel owners under the TON blockchain-based Telegram Ad Platform.

Telegram, the fourth-largest messaging app today, was the initial developer of TON tokens.
