Catenaa, Saturday, April 05, 2025-Telegram has surpassed 1 billion monthly active users, a milestone that has fueled growth in the TON ecosystem and propelled the Web3 shooting game BOMBIE to the top of the platform’s gaming revenue charts.
BOMBIE, which launched on Telegram in August 2024, has generated more than $21 million in revenue, making it the highest-earning game on the TON network. The game’s success is largely attributed to its “Fair Launch” model, which allocates 70% of its tokens to the community, fostering trust and engagement.
In January, BOMBIE expanded to the LINE Mini Dapp platform, achieving a record-high average revenue per paying user (ARPPU) of $194. The game’s performance in Japan was particularly strong, with an ARPPU of $804, outpacing luxury brand spending trends. On Telegram, BOMBIE maintains an ARPPU of $102 and has amassed more than 9.79 million players.
The game’s “Airdrop Box” feature, designed to incentivize user participation, has been accessed over 30 billion times, reinforcing its strong community-driven economy. Barry, BOMBIE’s chief operating officer, said the game aims to be a long-term entertainment product rather than a short-term profit mechanism.
