This innovative L2 replaces traditional sequencer fees with native yield and app revenues, offering frictionless onboarding for games, social apps, and DeFi without requiring users to pay gas fees.
Status redefines rollup economics by converting bridged ETH and stablecoins into yield-bearing assets, redistributing all net yield to the community.
This model funds builders, rewards liquidity providers, and removes transaction fees, creating a sustainable ecosystem designed for growth. The platform aligns with Status’s founding principles of privacy, sovereignty, and open access.

The public testnet is live with gasless transactions, while testnet v2 with spam protection and yield routing is scheduled for October 2025. Mainnet launch is expected in Q1 2026.
