Florida, Tuesday, June 11, 2024 – The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Spirit Airlines, Scott M. Haralson, concluded his 11 years of service with Spirit by joining a leading global car rental company, Hertz, as the CFO by the end of June, according to Hertz.

A veteran of the field, Haralson, will succeed Alexandra Brooks, who waits for an orderly transition until the end of June, according to reports.
“His deep expertise in financial management and leveraging the capital markets to drive business transformation will be invaluable to Hertz as we rotate our fleet, deliver operational excellence, build greater cost discipline and undertake other key initiatives to improve our financial performance. I welcome Scott’s partnership in helping lead Hertz through this transition year and into our next phase of growth as we seek to deliver sustainable long-term shareholder value,” Hertz CEO Gil West stated in the statement issued by Hertz. 2
The Chief Operating Officer at Hertz, Justin Keppy, resigned from Hertz on June 3, 2024.
Haralson contributed to the Dish Network, Frontier Airlines, Swift Aviation Group, and US Airways before he joined Spirit Airlines, and by the time he resigned from Spirit Airlines, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Brian McMenamy, Vice President and Controller, will succeed Haralson as Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective June 14, 2024. 3
