Catenaa, Monday, January 13, 2025 – Sol Strategies has invested 25 million Canadian dollars in the Solana ecosystem, reports on January 7 said.
The investment has been made through an insecurity credit facility.
This is the latest approach of the company after its rebranding from Cypherpunk Holdings in September 2024.
This novel step would pave the way for the Sol company to become one of the largest Solana stakeholders with a substantial growth in the crypto world.
Sol Strategies has staked over 1.5 million SOL tokens valued at CAD$450 million.
The credit facility through which the investment was completed was at a 5% interest rate per annum.
The company has spent $4 million from the initial amount, and the rest will be applied for SOL token purchases.
It is reported that the credit facility is valid until January 6, 2027.
Sol Strategies is a Canadian-based publicly traded company under the ticker of HODL and bearing a market cap of CAD419.52 million.
