New York Thursday, August 22, 2024-SnapChat and Meta are set to reveal their latest augmented reality (AR) glasses in September, marking a significant step in the ongoing race to dominate the AR market, reports said.
Snap Inc. will debut its fifth-generation ‘Spectacles’ AR glasses on September 17 during its annual Partner Summit in Los Angeles, followed by Meta’s introduction of its first true AR glasses, codenamed Orion, on September 25 at the Connect conference.

While Meta has previously released Ray-Ban branded smartglasses, the new device is anticipated to offer full AR capabilities, a significant advancement over its earlier models.
