Skale Labs released its third version, “Pacifica”


Monday, July 15, 2024 – Skale, the open source and ETH-based dApps multichain network, announced the launch of its’ third version, known as “Pacifica,” on July 10, 2024.

The improvement of the scalability and efficiency of the Skale network is expected with Pacifica V3.

A 108% increase in block mining speed and a 122% boost in transaction throughput are among the top updates unveiled for both developers and users.

The average block mining time has been reduced from 3.84 to 1.85, upgrading the overall speed of the network, while the transaction processing capacity has been enhanced from 144 TPS to 320 TPS, ensuring a higher  volume of transactions that the network is capable of operating on.

The periodical venture of Skale would enhance transaction speed, boost network performance, and upgrade the developer tools to deliver an inclusive space for users to adopt with dApps infrastructure.

In addition, EIP-1559 supports Type 1 and 2 transactions, enabling automatic fee adjustments based on network demand, and a 50% reduction in interchain messaging agent (IMA) transfers introduced with the new version.

Improvements in deployment management and the introduction of new wallet integrations are among the upgraded functionalities.

The Pacifica V3 upgrade would encourage developers and users to join an innovative journey with Skale for a seamless blockchain experience.

The V3.1 update of Skale would be released in the latter half of 2024, according to the official announcement.
