Panama, Thursday, May 9, 2024 – The Shiba Inu funding round, spearheaded by Cypher Capital, concluded with a $12 million investment aimed at implementing the Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) blockchain, as revealed in an announcement on April 23, 2024, shared via a post on X. 1

VC partners, such as Animoca Brands, DWF Ventures, and Polygon Ventures, contributed to the funding round.

The lead developer of Shiba Inu, Kusama, stated that the funding was obtained by integrating with the Panama-incorporated development firm, Shiba Inu Mint SA.

The fresh funding round would support the ignition of the ETH-based layer 2 blockchain, Shibarium, for its recognition as the global meme hub, Kusama said.

“95% of the world, that has no idea about crypto. They might’ve seen our brand, they might’ve seen our logo but they will (know us) by the end of the year,” Kusama noted. 2

Mechanism Capital, Shima Capital, Big Brain Holdings, Hercules Ventures, Morningstar Ventures, Woodstock Fund, DWF Ventures, Stake Capital, Illuminati Digital Capital, Primal Capital, and Spirit Dao were the other investors who contributed to the fresh funding round.
