Thursday, June 6, 2024 – Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank, SeABank, inked a cooperation agreement on May 24, 2024, with Visa International Card Organization to enhance its digital payment services. 1

SeABank and Visa are joining forces to drive digital payments within the bank through a five-pronged approach.

This collaboration prioritizes enhancing the customer experience by streamlining how users interact with cards and digital payment options on SeABank’s platforms.  Furthermore, the partnership aims to develop a wider range of attractive card products and services that cater to diverse customer needs.

Additionally, efforts will be directed towards optimizing SeABank’s digital ecosystem, ensuring a seamless experience for using card services within the platforms. 

To reach a broader audience, the collaboration will also focus on creative and impactful marketing strategies to promote SeABank’s card offerings.

Finally, a critical focus will be placed on strengthening risk management, ensuring robust security measures for both issuing cards and processing payments through SeABank’s digital platforms.

This comprehensive approach aims to solidify SeABank’s position in the digital payments landscape. 2

“The dedicated effort of upgrading the payment system at SeABank would expand the Vietnam customer base, and the partnership would contribute to ensuring the essentials of risk management and delivering a user-friendly eco system, along with the bank’s upcoming goals to achieve,” Mr. Stephen Karpin, President of Visa, Asia-Pacific Region, said. 2

SeABank’s partnership with Visa has offered new chances for the users, considering the past years, and the card lines of Signature, SeATravel, SeALady, SeAEasy, SeAGolf, and BRG Elite are among them.

 SeABank is expanding its digital payment platform to cater to the growing number of Vietnamese users who are adopting digital payments, according to Visa’s 2023 research.

This move capitalizes on the trend towards digital transactions and positions SeABank to offer secure and diverse payment options for its customers.
