Catenaa, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 – The evolving cryptocurrency sphere has been threatened by illicit on-chain criminal activities, a recent crypto crime report of Chainalysis said.

The report revealed that a range of crypto related crimes have been initiated by organizations and networks where cryptocurrency has been utilized along with complicated operating infrastructures.

The report also says that large-scale on-chain services have engaged in actors crypto laundering.

According to the report $40.9 billion of worth of cryptocurrency have illicit cryptocurrency addresses as of late 2024.

Nevertheless, it is assumed that the annual total crypto crime volume in 2024 will exceed $51 billion.
