Thursday, August 8, 2024 – Radix, the layer 1 protocol on July 30 introduced RadQuest, a platform designed to make Web3 accessible to a wider audience.
The gamified platform consists of an imaginary assistant named Jetty who guides users through key features of the Radix network, such as making transactions, staking tokens, and using decentralized exchanges (DEXs), in an interactive manner.
Radix said it launched RadQuest to simplify the complexities of blockchain technology by providing a user-friendly experience.
Many people find decentralized finance (DeFi) and digital assets confusing, so Radix teamed up with ustwo, creators of the popular game Monument Valley, to create a fun and engaging way to enlighten the user base.
Instead of just reading about these concepts as in a traditional tutorial, users get hands-on experience by completing “quests.”
The platform covers key areas like native assets, smart accounts, and transactions in a gamified way.
Radix said it believed RadQuest would drive to widen the Web3 user base by making the technology more engaging and approachable.
Developed in partnership with the renowned digital product studio Ustwo, creators of the award-winning mobile game Monument Valley, RadQuest says it aims to provide a repeatable onboarding experience that is engaging, educational, and intuitive for users of all levels of Web3 familiarity.
