Catenaa, Thursday, September 18, 2025-Web3 platform Portals said it will launch its $PORTALS token today, following a presale that sold out in 11 seconds and raised 3,700 Sol at a $90 million valuation.
The Token Generation Event (TGE) marks a major step in expanding Solana’s creator and entertainment ecosystem.
Portals, which offers no-code tools for launching tokens, agents, and games, positions itself as a hub for viral content creation in decentralized markets. Inspired partly by platforms like Roblox, the project aims to remove barriers for creators seeking to build in Web3. Company executives said the platform is filling a gap left by past crypto gaming projects that failed to deliver value.
The platform has also drawn attention for its NFT collection, which ranks as the second-largest by market capitalization on Solana. Whale investors have shown confidence through recent sweeps of more than $1 million for rare NFTs, while Portals’ annual revenue has surged 400 percent year over year.
Portals has attracted investment from Multicoin Capital, Greylock, Solana Ventures, and Foundation Capital.
Its launchpad feature has already hosted tokens like $CHRONO, which the company said has demonstrated strong performance.
Holders of $PORTALS will gain access to upcoming token drops and exclusive features on the platform.
With backing from institutional investors and a growing community, Portals expects to scale quickly after its token debut, aligning with rising interest in Solana-based entertainment, AI integration, and user-generated content.
