The federal government in Abuja approved the proposal of Nigeria’s national blockchain policy at the FEC meeting early May.
Simultaneously, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) in Nigeria reorganized the National Blockchain Policy Steering Committee (NBPSC), envisaging the reevaluation and clarification of the Nigerian blockchain regulatory framework.
This evaluation would give the digital space to work with innovative technologies advancing the economy, widening its operations to land registration, health, and education.
The re-evaluation of the policies conducted by the Steering Committee would rely on the national blockchain policy implemented by the Nigerian government.
With the insightful thoughts of experts in the Steering Committee, the Nigerian blockchain space is expected do well in the African blockchain sphere.
