Catenaa, Wednesday, July 23, 2025-Crypto payments provider MoonPay announced the addition of Revolut Pay, the payment solution from neobank Revolut, to its platform. The integration enables users in the UK and European Economic Area to buy cryptocurrencies instantly with a single click through Revolut Pay.
MoonPay’s move simplifies the crypto buying process by allowing Revolut customers to fund purchases without the usual friction linked to debit and credit cards. Users no longer need to switch accounts or complete extra steps during checkout, offering a fast, seamless onramp and offramp experience.
The partnership also unlocks Revolut Pay for MoonPay’s extensive network of over 500 partner apps and wallets, including Uniswap, OpenSea, Bybit, and Sweat Wallet. According to MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright, the integration allows millions of Revolut users to access crypto payments via a trusted method they already use daily.
Additional smart checkout features enable repeat purchases with minimal friction. Security measures require in-app authorization via passcode or biometric ID, while Revolut’s advanced fraud monitoring provides an extra layer of protection during transactions.
MoonPay, with nearly 30 million customers worldwide, holds licenses in the US, UK, EU, Canada, and Australia. It expanded its footprint earlier this year by acquiring Helio, a Solana-based blockchain payment processor, for $175 million. The company processed over $1.5 billion in transactions in the past three years.
This integration strengthens MoonPay’s position as a leading crypto payments gateway, improving user experience and expanding access to crypto markets across Europe.
