Catenaa, Tuesday, December 31, 2024 – The charity meme coin named “Mira” surged to an $80 million market capitalization, followed by Siqi Chen’s X post, reports on December 29 said.

The father of a young girl suffering from a rare brain tumor has pledged $1 million to research on his child’s condition.

The X post of Siqi Chen, CEO at Runway, has gone viral, drawing much attention.

Further, a token using the girl’s name “Mira” has been designed by a user as a result of the X post.

It is reported that rapid attention of the crypto users contributed to the newly introduced token hitting a market cap of $80 million.

X user known as Waddles has purchased 50% of Mira tokens and has transferred the total supply to Chen, remarkably donating to the research.

‘KitKat,’ the name of the girl’s dog, has also been used for another token in which $3 million of market cap was secured.

Another X post of Chen posted on December 26 revealed that he and his wife are grateful for the SOL community, and every penny earned via KitKat/memecoin will be utilized for rare disease research. 1
