Catenaa, Tuesday, April 29, 2025-Meta Earth, a modular blockchain project integrated with decentralized identity tools, has surpassed 1 million users, with more than 670,000 KYC-verified participants, the company announced Friday.
The milestone comes as Meta Earth accelerates its rollout of the ME Network — a horizontally scalable, modular blockchain framework — and deepens its push toward building a user-centric, sustainable Web3 economy. At the center of this push is the platform’s use of a daily token reward system, which provides verified users with one staked MEC token and access to staking-based earnings.
The platform’s ME ID protocol, based on privacy-preserving homomorphic encryption, gives users control over their personal data while complying with KYC standards. Meta Earth says this approach supports its broader goal of “universal digital equity,” including the implementation of a blockchain-based unconditional basic income model.
Founded by Swiss tech entrepreneur Patrick Oerer, Meta Earth positions itself as an infrastructure-first project focused on real-world applications, economic equality, and environmental sustainability. The ecosystem has expanded to over 30 countries, with thousands of users claiming daily rewards and engaging through a growing ambassador network.
With ME Network v2.0 on the horizon, Meta Earth is preparing to roll out upgraded Rollup testing, improved decentralized sequencer governance, and further expansion of its DeFi capabilities.
The project’s rapid adoption, coupled with a rigorous verification model and technical advancements, positions it as one of the leading next-generation blockchains aiming for institutional use and regulatory alignment.
