SINGAPORE, Thursday, September 5, 2024 – Decentralized AI blockchain platform Matchain said it had launched its mainnet on August 29.

The platform also focuses on data and identity sovereignty.

The launch marks a significant milestone for Matchain, aiming to create an ecosystem where users control their data, privacy is optional, and data ownership is democratized.

Matchain argues that Web2, the current interactive web model, has led to issues with data privacy and user control. While Web3 aims for a user-centric approach, Matchain believes challenges remain in data management.

It says that the existing decentralized networks often have fragmented and non-interoperable identities, while AI models raise privacy concerns by exploiting user data.

Matchain leverages decentralized identifiers (DIDs) for independent digital identity management and verifiable credentials for secure data sharing with user consent.

Matchain also has the first AI layer-2 rollup on the BNB Chain, enabling on-chain AI products and users with a focus on decentralized identity and data ownership.

The platform boasts partnerships with OKX Wallet, Rarible, and Moonwhales.xyz, expanding its presence in the NFT marketplace and Web3 space.

Reports claim that Matchain’s technology offers faster transaction speeds, integrates with multiple blockchains, and utilizes cryptography to safeguard user data and privacy.
