This selection strengthens Marathon Digital’s risk management strategy by adding Zodia Custody as its fourth custodian. The partnership offers benefits such as diversification of custody solutions, additional assurances like secure cold wallet storage, and protection against custodian insolvency.
Zodia Custody leverages the experience of Standard Chartered and other backers to provide secure institutional-grade custody solutions for digital assets. The company offers features like multi-signature wallets, requiring multiple approvals for any transaction, to safeguard client assets from theft, loss, or unauthorized access.
