Catenaa, Sunday, February 23, 2025 – Inversion Capital, led by top crypto investor Santiago Roel Santos, is launching a new initiative to drive mainstream cryptocurrency adoption by leveraging Avalanche’s Layer 1 (L1) blockchain. The move aims to onboard traditional businesses onto blockchain rails, creating what Santos calls the “first crypto-native private equity strategy.”
“Our goal is to fuel the world’s first crypto-native private equity strategy, acquiring traditional businesses and anchoring them on our chain,” said Santos. The plan is designed to integrate blockchain technology into business operations, replacing inefficient systems with crypto infrastructure to make businesses run more efficiently.
Unlike other blockchain projects that focus on technical details, Inversion is tackling crypto’s biggest challenge: adoption.
By acquiring established businesses with strong user bases, Inversion plans to introduce crypto services—such as stablecoins—through essential services like mobile and banking, making blockchain infrastructure invisible to end users but essential to the operation.
Avalanche’s blockchain platform was chosen for its flexibility and customization capabilities, enabling Inversion to offer privacy, permissioning, and interoperability features crucial for business integration.
With Avalanche’s recent network upgrade, the firm believes it can create a highly efficient and scalable ecosystem that drives real-world use of blockchain technology.
Inversion’s mission is to show that crypto is not just an asset class but the operating system that can streamline business operations and reduce costs.
