Catenaa, Thursday, July 17, 2025- Impossible Cloud Network (ICN), a decentralized cloud services provider, has launched its $ICNT token on major exchanges including Bybit, Binance, Kraken, Gate.io, and Bitget.

This launch follows a $34 million ecosystem funding round that valued the company at $470 million.

Based in Switzerland, ICN offers a permissionless, composable cloud infrastructure that integrates storage, computing, and networking, achieving performance levels comparable to centralized hyperscalers.

The network processes over 23,000 cloud requests per second from more than 1,000 enterprise clients, positioning ICN as a leading revenue-generating decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN).

The $ICNT token is integral to ICN’s ecosystem, enabling users to stake and provision hardware capacity through HyperNodes, linking the token directly to real-world infrastructure demand.

CEO and co-founder Kai Wawrzinek, who previously led Goodgame Studios to NASDAQ unicorn status, emphasized ICN’s mission to unbundle the internet by controlling the data layer.

ICN benefits from strong industry tailwinds, including soaring demand for AI, hardware shortages, and increasing interest in sovereign cloud alternatives to dominant US hyperscalers like AWS and Google.

The company aims to pioneer a decentralized cloud foundation that challenges Big Tech’s centralized dominance.

Investors in the recent funding round include Nokia-backed NGP Capital, 1kx, No Limit Holdings, Protocol VC, and HV Capital, underscoring broad institutional confidence in ICN’s growth potential.
