Catenaa, Sunday, June 08, 2025- Galxe has introduced Starboard, a new platform designed to help Web3 projects identify and reward their most active contributors, the company announced May 28.
The platform combines on-chain and off-chain analytics to track user engagement and distribute rewards more fairly and effectively.
More than 20 crypto projects have already joined Starboard, collectively contributing over $5 million to a shared rewards pool. Notable participants include Plume, which focuses on tokenizing real-world assets and has added $450,000; DeFi project Dango, allocating 1% of its total token supply; and 0G Labs, a decentralized AI operating system builder that recently raised over $350 million and contributed more than $100,000.
Starboard rewards users for actions that drive growth, such as protocol participation, transaction volume, and content contributions, rather than merely for presence. The platform’s hybrid analytics measure social media engagement alongside blockchain metrics like liquidity and transaction volume, helping projects reward genuine contributors.
According to Galxe co-founder Charles Wayn, Starboard is aimed at making community building more efficient by focusing on real impact. The tool builds on insights from Galxe’s earlier Quest platform, which attracted millions to Web3, and aims to avoid inflated metrics in favor of sustainable growth.
In related news, Galxe CEO Harry Zhang announced the upcoming launch of Gravity, Galxe’s Layer 1 blockchain designed to connect multiple blockchains and simplify user experience. Gravity’s alpha mainnet is expected to launch in two weeks and aims for mass adoption by streamlining cross-chain interactions.
