San Francisco, Thursday, March 7, 2024- An open-source cloud market, Filecoin (FIL) protocol, announced on February 18, 2024, their alliance with the Solana Foundation (SOL), aiming at storing the data of Solana in the Filecoin network.
It is reported that support of the Triton One and DCENT teams made the partnership possible.
It aims to strengthen the block history and ledger of Solana within a decentralized network, ensuring accessibility to data history for anyone who needs it.
Filecoin says the integration will unveil a user-friendly ecosystem that empowers blockchain platforms, enhancing allied potential in Ethereum (ETH).
It is believed that the alliance, which relies on the exigency of storage, would uplift the concept of decentralized storage.
By using Filecoin’s decentralized storage capabilities, Solana could achieve data redundancy, scalability, and enhanced security, while staying true to its decentralized ethos, one report said. 1
