Catenaa, Saturday, May 03, 2025-Fantasy.top, an on-chain trading card platform, has unveiled Clout, a new rewards system designed to tokenize social interactions on the social media platform X.
The initiative aims to incentivize cryptocurrency discussions, rewarding top contributors with real-world value.
Clout evaluates posts based on relevance, quality, and virality within crypto-related conversations. The top point earners are integrated into Fantasy’s gaming ecosystem, where they can compete monthly for a share of $10,000 in ETH rewards.
Clout holders also gain increased visibility on X, further enhancing their online presence.
This launch follows the December 2024 release of Fantasy’s protocol V2, which introduced Fantasy X, a dedicated social media feed for crypto creators. Fantasy co-founder Travis Bickle stated that Clout represents a new approach to monetizing social capital and providing financial incentives within the crypto space. The move builds on Fantasy’s early success, expanding its influencer base from 200 to more than 50,000 users.
Fantasy.top, which raised $4.25 million in seed funding from Dragonfly Ventures last December, aims to provide a consumer-first financial layer integrated with its gaming ecosystem.
As the platform expands, it seeks to revolutionize how users earn rewards for their social media presence, creating new opportunities for engagement within the cryptocurrency community.
