Monday, September 24, 2024 – The NFT drop platform on Solona, DRiP, had secured $8 million in a seed funding round led by NFX, Coinbase Ventures, and Progression, a blog post announced on September 9.
6th Man Ventures and more than 30 angel investors have participated in the round.
The valuation and the structure of the round had not been revealed, the post read.
The fund would be invested to roll out the new mobile app and enhance platform features while advancing the marketing strategies to address a new user community.
The creators in DRiP can distribute their artwork, including multimedia contents, to clients as digital collectibles; in return, payment and tips will be received.
The micropayment methods practiced in the platform would bring “meaningful revenue” to the creator.
