New York, Wednesday, September 11, 2024- The Department of Justice (DOJ) had alleged last week a Kremlin-orchestrated influence operation funneled $10 million to Tenet Media, a US-based company linked to right-wing commentators.1

The DOJ says, the company tied to online personalities with millions of followers, is allegedly funded to push pro-Russian narratives, including support for Donald Trump.

Tenet Media’s founders reportedly knew about the Russian funding, with private messages indicating knowledge of payments from Russian sources.

The DOJ’s indictment targets two employees of RT, Russia’s state media arm. YouTube has since removed Tenet Media’s channels. Several influencers claimed they were victims of the scheme.
