New York, Saturday, October 19, 2024- Ethereum-based virtual reality platform Decentraland (MANA) has emerged as the leading NFT project in terms of development activity, according to the latest report by crypto analytics firm Santiment.
Decentraland recorded 168.17 notable GitHub events over the past 30 days, placing it at the top of Santiment’s ranking.
Flow (FLOW), a layer-1 permissionless blockchain, followed with 119.57 events, while decentralized NFT platform Metaplex (MPLX), built on Solana, ranked third with 19.13 events.
Santiment emphasizes that its data collection process excludes routine updates and uses a backtested methodology to track significant development activities.
High development activity often signals developer confidence in a project and suggests its lower likelihood of being an exit scam.
At the time of writing, Decentraland’s native token MANA is trading at $0.294, a 7% increase in the past 24 hours.
FLOW is priced at $0.539, up 5% over the same period, while MPLX is trading at $0.416, down 0.5%. (October second week)
Santiment’s data reinforces Decentraland’s strong position in the NFT space, driven by ongoing developer efforts to enhance its virtual reality platform.
