deBridge Launches Hooks for Real-Time Cross-Chain Data

In Summary

  • deBridge launches Hooks for instant cross-chain data transfers.
  • Simplifies Dapp interactions across networks like Solana.
  • DBR governance token launches on October 17.
  • Enhances user experience with seamless blockchain transactions.

New York, Wednesday, October 16, 2024 – deBridge has launched Hooks, a new feature enabling real-time, trustless data exchanges between blockchains.

This development enhances cross-chain interoperability, allowing decentralized applications (Dapps) to interact seamlessly across networks. Launch partners include Solflare Wallet and Solana-based Zeta Markets.

deBridge previously facilitated instant value transfer across blockchains, but data transfers faced a delay of up to 15 minutes.

Hooks now reduce this to near-instantaneous transactions, enabling dapps on one blockchain to receive assets from another in a single step. This functionality simplifies complex multi-step processes, improving user experience.

Key applications for Hooks include cross-chain asset distribution, streamlined user onboarding, and automated protocol triggers. The innovation is expected to enhance user acquisition and retention through simplified blockchain interactions.

In addition to the Hooks launch, deBridge is preparing for the release of its DBR governance token on October 17, which will be distributed via the Jupiter LFG launchpad.

The DBR token will play a key role in the project’s decentralized governance, with 20% of the total supply allocated to the community. The token launch follows the rollout of a points-based rewards system for deBridge’s existing users.
