Catenaa, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 – Pseudonymous crypto influencer ‘crypto queen,’ Valeria Fedyakina, has been charged with theft of BTC and foreign currency valued at $21.3 million, reports on January 15 said.

The Russian businesswoman, known as ‘Bitmama,’ is charged with luring clients to invest in Bitcoin for high returns.

The investigations revealed that she is active on Instagram, promoting her luxury lifestyle with daily updates.

The prosecutors said the crypto queen misappropriated UAE dirhams and Bitcoin, luring crypto clients.

The court has ordered the freezing of the crypto queen’s bank accounts and other assets to compensate in return.

Nevertheless, Fedyakina’s legal team argued for her innocence.

In 2023, she was imprisoned over her funding to Ukraine’s armed forces

Investigations further disclosed her illegal crypto exchange invested in her private oil export business.

The investigations on the “crypto queen” are ongoing.
