Catenaa, Friday, May 16, 2025-Bybit, the world’s second-largest crypto exchange by trading volume, unveiled its latest payments and crypto solutions at Web Summit Rio 2025, spotlighting its growing influence in Latin America’s digital economy.
The Dubai-based firm used the April 27–30 technology event to showcase Bybit Pay, its blockchain-based payment gateway now operational in Brazil.
Built in partnership with local fintech Transfero, the solution enables seamless crypto-to-fiat transactions and supports QR code payments via Brazil’s PIX system.
Bybit Pay integrates fiat and digital assets in one platform, supporting BRL, BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC.
It allows merchants to tap into Bybit’s global user base of more than 60 million while ensuring blockchain-backed security.
Attendees at the summit tested the platform firsthand at the Bybit booth, engaging with team members and completing real-time demo transactions.
A Transfero x Bybit Happy Hour drew hundreds, offering live demos and branded giveaways.
The exchange also revealed its role as the exclusive payment partner for Tomorrowland Brasil, a major music festival scheduled for October in São Paulo.
Bybit’s latest efforts underscore its ambition to become the premier crypto lifestyle brand in LATAM. Local users can now access both Bybit Pay and a Bybit Card, offering up to 10% cashback in Brazil and Argentina.
