Tuesday, November 19, 2024 – Blockstream, the leading blockchain-based firm, recently launched a new research center in Lugano, Switzerland.
This initiative focuses on the enhancement of financial products powered by Liquid and Lightning Network, partnering with local entities and startups to tap into the Build On L2 community.
This milestone would be significant in the financial venture of Blockstream, as the giant has already unlocked a spot in Switzerland, the hub of the traditional finance sector.
Adopting the strategic innovations of Liquid and Lightning, the research center would be operated under expert guidance for a thriving blockchain experience, the announcement read.
Additionally, aligning with this new research center, CHF 10,000 in sponsorships will be offered by Blockstream, aiming at the promising projects.
The short-listed project groups will be nominated to work with the Blockstream team, providing travel and accommodation, the announcement read.
The developers and rollups are invited to collaborate with Blockstream by joining the Build On L2 community.
The launch of Blockstream’s research center was followed by the events held at the Plan B Forum in Lugano and Liquid Developer Bootcamp in Viareggio.
