Singapore, Monday, March 4, 2024 – Binance, the leading global cryptocurrency exchange, announced significant upgrades to its Web3 wallet today. These enhancements aim to streamline user experience within the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.1

The Binance Web3 wallet received a significant upgrade today, bringing a suite of new features designed to enhance the user experience within the DeFi space.

Users can now interact with ERC-404 tokens, a standard that merges elements of ERC-20 and ERC-721, enabling fractional ownership of NFT collections without intermediaries.

Additionally, a user-friendly Inscriptions Marketplace has been integrated directly into the wallet, allowing users to mint and trade these digital assets built on the Binance Chain.

The update also prioritizes user comfort by streamlining navigation and improving the overall interface for a more intuitive experience. Furthermore, the wallet expands its reach by integrating with five new decentralized application networks, including Manta, ZetaChain, ZKFair, Metis, and Scroll.

Finally, Binance emphasizes user control by offering a self-custody option, allowing users to upgrade from a semi-custodial model and manage their own private keys.

Binance also initiated a $1 million airdrop campaign running from February 22 to April 3, 2024.

Eligible users can participate for a chance to win rewards in various BRC-20 tokens from Binance’s partners.

The platform now integrates 19 new decentralized applications (dApps), offering a diverse range of features and services.

The latest improvements extend beyond the software upgrades, encompassing enhanced swap options and access to a network of 29 decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and 15 bridges.

Binance said that with a focus on user convenience, the platform offers easy setup, secure cloud backup, and self-custody features. Users can engage in multi-chain transactions, token swaps, and leverage a mobile-friendly interface.
