Catenaa, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 – Beamable has raised $13.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Bitkraft Ventures to advance its decentralized gaming infrastructure.

The funding will accelerate the growth of the Network, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) designed to reduce the gaming industry’s dependence on centralized cloud providers. The network distributes computing power, storage, and bandwidth through tokenized incentives, aiming to create a more cost-effective and resilient alternative to traditional server platforms.

“By integrating decentralized principles, we’re unlocking a new era of scalability and inclusivity for developers,” Beamable CEO Jon Radoff said.

The company projects the Network to be a top-10 DePIN project by revenue at launch, citing strong demand from existing game developers using its technology. Beamable has already processed billions of API calls, demonstrating its scalability and efficiency.

Bitkraft Ventures General Partner Carlos Pereira said the firm believes the company is well-positioned to set a new standard for decentralized infrastructure in gaming.

Other investors in the round included Arca, Solana Foundation, Advancit Capital, and defy.vc.
