Catenaa, Sunday, September 07, 2025- Apple has officially announced its annual “Awe Dropping” iPhone event, scheduled for this Tuesday, September 9, at Apple Park in Cupertino.

The company is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup, including the new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, along with updated Apple Watches, AirPods, and HomePod devices.

The iPhone 17 series will feature four models, with the standard iPhone 17 gaining a 120Hz display, larger 6.3-inch screen, upgraded 24MP front camera, and faster 35W charging.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are set to receive the new 3nm A19 Pro chip, 12GB RAM, vapor chamber cooling, and enhanced cameras with 48MP telephoto lenses capable of up to 8x zoom.

Apple is replacing the traditional Plus model with the iPhone 17 Air, a 5.5mm ultra-thin phone with a single 48MP rear camera, 2,900mAh battery, and slightly scaled-back A19 chip.

Analysts say the Air model targets users who prioritize design over battery capacity or multiple cameras.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 will introduce a larger 2.12-inch screen, satellite connectivity, and an AI-powered side camera for real-time contextual data.

The Watch SE 3 is expected to inherit key features from the Series 11, including improved health tracking and ECG functionality.

Other anticipated launches include AirPods Pro 3 with enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, heart rate monitoring, and gesture controls, alongside the long-rumored HomePod 3 with a swiveling OLED display, FaceTime camera, and smart home integration.

The September event sets the stage for Apple’s next wave of innovation, including rumored foldable iPhones next year and a special 20th-anniversary iPhone in 2027. Accessories like new cases and crossbody straps are also expected, complementing the expanded hardware lineup.
