Aleph Zero Unveils Privacy App for EVM Chains

In Summary

  • Aleph Zero debuts Common Solution for private DeFi.
  • Enables shielded transactions on EVM chains like Arbitrum.
  • Supports MetaMask, Ledger; mobile app coming in May.
  • Uses zero-knowledge and DAG tech for fast, private swaps.

Catena, Tuesday, May 13, 2025- Aleph Zero has launched a new privacy-focused crypto app designed for private, cross-chain transactions.

The web app, named Common Solution, is built on the Aleph Zero infrastructure and aims to enable shielded transactions on Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) networks, starting with Arbitrum and extending to other chains like Base, Berachain, and Sonic.

Common Solution allows users to mask their blockchain activity while retaining auditability, breaking the link between public wallet addresses and future transactions.

The app’s features include shielded yield, private staking rewards, and private asset bridging. Users can also unshield their assets using a new address, preserving privacy and anonymity during transactions.

The app integrates with popular wallets, including MetaMask, Ledger, and Rabby, and is set to launch a mobile version by the end of May.

It operates as the user interface for Aleph Zero’s Shielder Network, a system combining smart contracts, relayers, and zero-knowledge cryptography to facilitate secure and private transactions across multiple chains.

Aleph Zero’s platform uses the AlephBFT consensus protocol and directed acyclic graph (DAG) cryptography, which enhances scalability and transaction finality.

With subsecond proving times and local processing on user devices, the app promises to anonymize activity without commingling funds. It also ensures compliance and auditing capabilities when required.

The project, leveraging Aleph Zero’s proprietary technologies, seeks to bridge the gap between privacy and transparency in decentralized finance (DeFi).
