Catenaa, Friday, March 07, 2025 – Blockchain developer platform Alchemy has launched a $5 million initiative, the ‘Everyone Onchain Fund,’ aimed at accelerating mainstream adoption of Web3 and supporting Ethereum’s evolving ecosystem.
The fund provides resources to developers working on Alchemy Rollups and the smart wallet Account Kit, offering financial and infrastructure support for rollup deployment and user onboarding. Developers can access up to $10,000 in gas credits, $20,000 in compute credits, and up to $25,000 in funding per team.
According to Alchemy, only $4 million remains available, indicating early interest in the program. Developers will also gain access to enterprise-grade rollup infrastructure, embedded wallets, and gasless transaction capabilities. The fund initially supports OP Stack and Arbitrum Orbit ecosystems, offering free smart wallet integration for projects deploying rollups—an estimated $40,000 in savings.
Companies like OpenSea, Magic Eden, Sony’s Soneium, and Worldcoin have already utilized Alchemy’s infrastructure, highlighting its impact on scaling Web3 applications. Rollup activity has surged nearly sixfold in the past year, and apps leveraging Account Kit have recorded four times more transaction volume.
Alchemy’s Rollups-as-a-Service (RaaS) allows teams to launch their own blockchains, while Account Kit simplifies smart wallet integration with features like 1-click gasless transactions and seamless login via social and email methods.
“Creating this fund was a no-brainer,” said Alchemy CEO Nikil Viswanathan. “It’s a direct response to what builders need to succeed onchain.”
The initiative is seen as an indicator of a broader shift in making Web3 accessible to mainstream users, eliminating technical barriers, and enhancing blockchain scalability.
