Abu Dhabi partners with Solana to drive web3 adoption in UAE


Abu Dhabi, Friday, February 23, 2024 – A leading International Financial Center (IFC) well known for blockchain innovation, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) announced on February 7, 2024, their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Solana Foundation, a non-profit organization with expertise in blockchain platforms. 1

The alliance is aimed at developing Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solutions and moving forward with blockchain innovation.

The partnership is expected to broaden the opportunities in the blockchain ecosystem in Abu Dhabi, offering benefits for joint initiatives.

Upgrading ADGM to a central hub for decentralized technology under the DLT Foundations Regulations is initiated by the partnership.

The expansion of the digital asset space, particularly blockchain and Web3, in Abu Dhabi is concerned with the collaboration of giants in the digitally accessible platform.
