Catenaa, Thursday, June 06 2025-AB Charity Foundation and AB Blockchain announced the appointment of 10 new senior advisors to their global advisory board, broadening the foundation’s mission to advance technology-enabled philanthropy worldwide.

The newly expanded board now includes nearly 30 prominent figures from five continents, featuring former and current heads of state, international organization leaders, and policy experts.

The diverse network forms the “Global Philanthropy Strategy Engine,” aimed at fostering cross-sector collaboration for sustainable and inclusive philanthropic efforts.

Bertie Ahern, chair of the foundation and former Irish prime minister, emphasized the importance of combining governance expertise with technological innovation to build a trusted philanthropy ecosystem. “Tech for Good is a global cooperative endeavor,” he said.

Among the new advisors are Olusegun Obasanjo, former Nigerian president and African Union chairperson; Victor Yushchenko, former president of Ukraine; and Joanna Nurse, a senior World Health Organization expert in global health policy.

Others include former Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister Dzhoomart Otorbaev and prominent social welfare advocates from Egypt, Bulgaria, Bolivia, and the Caribbean.

AB Charity Foundation operates as an independent NGO based in Ireland, leveraging blockchain, artificial intelligence, and other technologies to create a new “Governance Trust + Technology-Driven” model for public good.

The foundation’s $AB token is traded on multiple exchanges including Bitget, HTX, and MEXC.

The organization continues to collaborate with the United Nations, NGOs, governments, and technology firms to address critical global issues such as education, healthcare, environmental protection, and humanitarian aid.
