Catenaa, Wednesday, July 09, 2025-South Korea-based gaming firm WEMADE and developer Redlab Games have opened global pre-registration for ROM: Golden Age, a Web3-enabled MMORPG set to launch in August across 170 countries, excluding Korea.
The game is now available for sign-up through the WEMIX PLAY platform and its official website.
Building on the success of ROM: Remember of Majesty, Redlab’s latest title integrates advanced blockchain elements, introducing a new “RPG Tokenomics 3.0” system.
This dual-token model promises a player-centric Play-to-Earn (P2E) experience by seamlessly linking two game-native currencies.
Pre-registered players are eligible for in-game rewards, including Gold Random Boxes and Monster Slates. WEMIX PLAY users will also receive additional entries in a referral-based raffle program.
Weekly giveaways will continue through August 7, offering PLAY Tokens, CROM Tokens, and exclusive items. Participation increases with each successful friend referral.
The campaign includes milestone-based rewards, with global registration counts unlocking perks such as Buff Boxes and Enhancement Scrolls.
A dedicated check-in event allows users to earn Pre-registration Coins redeemable for rare items. Players can also complete missions to gain additional coin rewards ahead of the launch.
WEMADE and Redlab will host three live AMA sessions before the official release to explain the token system, discuss game features, and address questions from the community.
WEMADE, known for The Legend of Mir series, has used the WEMIX platform to build a broader Web3 gaming ecosystem.
