Catenaa, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 – Ripple has donated US$25M to Fairshake, a super Political Action Committee (PAC), recent reports said.
The commitment to strengthening the pro-crypto policies in Washington DC has been aimed at Ripple’s funding for the US midterm election in 2026.
This was followed by Fairshake’s contribution to the victory of crypto-based candidates in the US election this year.
This was Ripple’s third donation, which comprised the same amount, for this year.
During the US election of 2024, Fairshake has secured over US$200M from corporations and individuals and has donated about US$1M to 22 candidates.
It is reported that 90% of candidates supporting the decentralized techies have defeated their opponents with the contribution of Fairshake to the recent election.
Fairshake’s strategy applied to the recent election in the US would be repeatedly applied to the coming US midterm election in 2026 while blockchain-based firms like Ripple are proactive on sustaining the regulatory framework of crypto.
Coinbase and Andreessen Horowitz’s a16z, two of the largest institutional players, have donated $25M and $23M, respectively, and Ripple placed as the third among donors, reports said.
Fairshake PAC, may have secured approximately $73M in total for the coming US election in 2026, observers claim.
