Catenaa, November 20, 2024-NVIDIA Corporation announced yesterday a record-breaking revenue of $35.1 billion for the third quarter of fiscal 2025, reflecting a 17% increase from the previous quarter and a staggering 94% rise from the same period last year.
The company’s growth was largely fueled by soaring demand in the AI and data center sectors, alongside advances in gaming and professional visualization technologies.
A key highlight of the quarter was the launch of Denmark’s largest AI supercomputer, powered by the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD. Equipped with 1,528 H100 Tensor Core GPUs and connected via NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand, this infrastructure solidifies Denmark’s position as a leader in AI innovation.
The company’s GAAP earnings per share rose to $0.78, a 16% quarter-over-quarter increase, while non-GAAP earnings per share reached $0.81, up 19% from the prior quarter. Data center revenue hit $30.8 billion, marking a 112% increase from a year ago, as enterprises and governments worldwide expanded investments in AI-driven computing infrastructure.
The gaming segment also performed well, with a 15% revenue increase year-over-year to $3.3 billion, supported by innovations in GeForce RTX GPUs and AI-enhanced gaming platforms.
CEO Jensen Huang highlighted the transformative power of AI. “The age of AI is here, driving a global shift to NVIDIA computing,” Huang said.
“From enterprises reimagining workflows to nations building AI infrastructure, NVIDIA is at the center of this revolution.”
Looking ahead, NVIDIA projects fourth-quarter revenue of $37.5 billion as it continues to expand its leadership in AI, robotics, and next-generation gaming technologies. A quarterly dividend of $0.01 per share will be paid on Dec. 27 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 5.
