Wednesday, October 2, 2024 – The Avalanche Foundation announced on September 26 that its new grant support program Retro9000 offered a $40 million grant for developers.1
The smart contract platform Avalanche encourages developers to launch new products.
The grant program that supports the recent upgrade Avalanche9000 fosters developers to launch L1 blockchains on the Avalanche platform.
Additionally, the developers who build the tools to manage Avalanche Layer 1 will also be rewarded.
The objective of the grant program is to incentivize the testing and initiate the foundation for building blocks on Avalanche.
The applications would be ranked on the leaderboard through community votes, Avalanche said.
It is reported that the price of AVAX significantly increased to $29 after the announcement.
