San Francisco, Thursday, September 12, 2024-Apple on Monday introduced its latest smartphones, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Apple officially launched the highly anticipated iPhone 16 series at the Glowtime Event 2024, held at its Cupertino Park headquarters in California on Monday.

The new phone was met with a flurry of memes and jokes on social media, with users noting the similarities between the iPhone 16 and its predecessors.

Both models feature the new A18 Pro chip and Apple’s latest technology, Apple Intelligence, which enhances personal context understanding while safeguarding user privacy.

The iPhone 16 Pro models come with larger displays—6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max—the largest ever on an iPhone.

The devices also boast a new 48MP Fusion camera with 4K120 fps video recording in Dolby Vision, and a 48MP Ultra Wide camera for high-resolution photos.

The 5x Telephoto camera is now included on both models, offering expanded photographic capabilities.

Apple integrated AI dubbed Apple Intelligence also is an advanced features to the devices, enabling smarter interactions with features like systemwide Writing Tools, summarized notifications, and improved Siri integration.

The new Camera Control provides a tactile interface for easy photo and video adjustments.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are built with a durable titanium design and the latest Ceramic Shield, ensuring robust performance and up to 20 percent better heat dissipation.

They will be available in four finishes: black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and desert titanium.

Pre-orders start on September 13, with availability from September 20.
